This famous reserve is found on the south western part of Kenya, sharing not only a border with the neighbouring Tanzania but also a diverse and incredibly massive number of wild animals forming the world’s best wildlife safari destination.
4 days Masai Mara Migration Experience – Mara Choroa Camp Road Package
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Start your safari after being picked up from your hotel/residence in Nairobi in the morning at 7:30 am. Then proceed down to the great rift valley view point where you will get to stop and view beautiful vast escarpment of the rift valley. From here you will descend down the escarpment as you head down southwest towards Narok town. Proceed to Masai Mara National reserve and arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After lunch then proceed for an afternoon game drive till sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Choroa Camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara.
Full day in Masai Mara with game viewing drives in search of the ‘big five’. Masai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game. Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara.
This will be a day of unlimited game drives, starting early so we can catch the wildlife as it steps into the morning light. This is a quiet, cool, and peaceful time to watch the wildlife first sightings.
The Masa Mara is famous for its diversity and numbers of big cats, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and other large game.
During the season of the Great Migration (July – October) prepare to witness the largest display of herding animals on the planet. You’ll see thousands of wildebeests crossing into the park over the Mara River in an endless flow.
The river is also home to hippos and crocodiles, adding to the splendor and variety of wildlife filling the scene here.
It is also the perfect opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara game reserve as you watch wildlife
Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi
An early morning game drive in Masai Mara if only you didn’t manage game drive on the 1st day followed by late breakfast then departure to Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic views of the rift valley and adjacent landforms. The tour ends in Nairobi in the afternoon
